Hello! My name is Yadina Eli Huerta Urbina, I was born in the department of Granada, Nicaragua on August 20, 2015, I am 8 years old and I am in third grade. I live with my mother, Carla, my father, Eli, my brother, Elieth, and my sister, Deyanira. I consider myself a good and funny girl, I think I behave very well and I like to help others.

At home I feel good. Normally I play rope with my friends named Alondra and Elizabet, I do housework, and sometimes I watch cartoons on television. My dad goes out to work, and my mom is the one who takes care of me at home.

My favorite color is purple, I like to eat potatoes with chicken, and I love playing with my dog. He is my favorite animal. I don’t have a favorite sport, but I do like to do physical exercise. My favorite movie is Matilda, and I like all fairy tales. Playing makes me feel happy, but what scares me is the darkness. Also, it makes me very sad when my relatives pass away.

At the Escudo Learning Center, my best companions are my cousin Yadira, and my friends Abril and Angelina. I like all the classes and activities I do there, but my favorite class is math. Recently, I have learned how to introduce myself in English, and now I know color words like “red, black, and pink”.

When I grow up, I would like to become a doctor.

¡Hola! Me llamo Yadina Eli Huerta Urbina, nací en el departamento de Granada, Nicaragua el 20 de agosto del año 2015, tengo 8 años y estoy en tercer grado. Vivo con mi mamá, Carla, mi papá, Eli, mi hermano, Elieth, y mi hermana, Deyanira. Me considero como una niña buena y graciosa, creo que me comporto muy bien y me gusta ayudar a los demás.

En mi casa me siento bien. Normalmente juego a la cuerda con mis amigas que se llaman Alondra y Elizabet, hago tareas domésticas, y a veces veo caricaturas en la televisión. Mi papá sale a trabajar, y mi mamá es la que me cuida en casa.

Mi color favorito es morado, me gusta comer los papas con pollo y me encanta jugar con mi perro, es mi animal favorito. No tengo un deporte favorito, pero sí que me gusta hacer ejercicio físico. Mi película favorita es la de Matilda, y me gustan todos los cuentos de hadas. Jugar me hace sentir feliz, pero lo que me da miedo es la oscuridad. Además, me pone muy triste cuando mis parientes fallecen.

En el centro Escudo, mis mejores compañeras son mi prima Yadira, y mis amigas Abril y Angelina. Me gustan todas las clases y actividades que hago allá, pero mi clase favorita es la de matemáticas. Recientemente, he aprendido cómo presentarme en inglés, y ahora sé las palabras de colores como rojo, negro y rosa.

Cuando sea mayor, me gustaría llegar a ser doctora.
